CORNARD United won their FA Cup extra preliminary round replay on Tuesday night, beating Whitton United 4-2 in a penalty shootout, with keeper Darren Moyes scoring from the spot, and keeping one of Whitton's penalties out.
The game ended in a 3-3 draw, with Cornard fighting back from 2-0 down, Phil Kelly scoring following a corner just before the interval.

Kelly and Ben Lawson, both with long-range shots, put Cornard 3-2 up early in the second half, but Whitton broke away ten minutes from time to grab an equaliser.

There were no further goals in extra-time, and with Moyes saving one, and Whitton missing two of their penalties in the shootout, Cornard went through.

In the preliminary round on Saturday, August 30, Cornard are away to Stowmarket Town or Ipswich Wanderers, who were due to replay last night.

On Saturday Cornard drew 1-1 at Whitton, Kelly again on target, scoring an equaliser in the second half.
