Sudbury still baffled by mystery buzz

Chief reporter Jonathan Schofield and his dog Bob set off on a night-time listening tour of the Springlands Estate and the neighbouring Woodhall Business Park at Sudbury.
I took Bob with me just to see if his superior hearing could pick anything up – although I'm not sure how he would have let me know.

Despite an extensive tour, the buzz did not seem to be buzzing.

There was the sound of drum and bass from a few souped-up Fiestas and Vauxhall Corsas doing laps of the estate, but apart from that it was eerily silent.

Planes heading for Stansted circled overhead, a couple of rats scurried by, a man with a dog eyed me cautiously, but that was it.

No sound and no buzz to report. So the mystery continues...
